My Birthday Celebration

It’s was a wonderful birthday celebration for me. Being with my hubby on my birthday is something rare. Usually we have to wait for the following weekend to spend time together for the birthday celebration. So this year it was different. I celebrated my birthday on the actual date itself. My birthday started off with hubby singing me ‘Happy Birthday’ when the clock striked midnight. He looked so cute when he was on his knees singing the song. But the biggest surprise I received was early in the morning when he woke me up with breakfast in bed. I was really surprised because first of all, my hubby is not a morning person and second of all, he’s not a cook. So his attempt at making breakfast early in the morning and serving me in bed, was really sweet and touching. Thanks dear for the effort and the surprise I was put back to sleep and he went off to work. Woke up at about 1 pm and ordered pizza for lunch.

I waited for my husband to come back from work as he promised to bring me to Tony Roma's for my birthday. Can't wait to sink my teeth into those nice juicy ribs. Waited and waited and at last he reached home nearly 8pm. It was raining heavily and the after office hours traffic.. so what do you expect?? Anyway, when he reached home I was upstairs in my room getting ready. When he entered the room, he asked me whether there's anything to munch as he was very hungry. I told him I will go downstairs and get the pizza for him. When I was going down the stairs, I was surprised to see a big wrapped box with a birthday card attached on the dining table. I read the card, a specially made card by my dearest hubby with the picture of bart simpson on the outside. When he came down, I tore off the wrapper and YESSS!! At last I got my microwave oven... heheheheheh!! For your information, I have no clue how to use the microwave oven as I never have one before in my life!! Macam jakun aku!!! Hahahahaa!!! At least one item from my wish list has been strike off!! :)

Then off we went to Tony Roma's.

We waited for some time before we got a table. We ordered our drinks, bottomless iced lemon tea. It's bottomless cos we can have as many refills as we want.

And we also ordered the onion loaf.

Then came the ribs. We cannot decide whether we want to order the bountiful ribs or the boneless ones. But then again ribs without the bones will not be called a rib then... So we ordered half rack of the bountiful ribs.... (I am salivating as I am typing this.. muakakakaa)

And after about 15 minutes, this was how it looked like.....

To my friends who appreciate good food especially good ribs, I have to tell you this is really good! They served it with 4 different kind of sauces and all of them taste really good! I've tried ribs at various restaurants here and I can safely say that the ribs at Tony Roma's are really good. Second will be TGIF's though. A must try!

After Tony Roma's, we went to get a slice of cake from Secret's Recipe cos I really wanted to blow a candle on my birthday. We managed to persuade the guy to sell a slice of chocolate mud cake cos they were preparing to close the shop at that time. Hehehehhee......

So, I ended the wonderful day by blowing the candle and making a wish which only God knows what.....

Thanks dear, you are one wonderful and loving husband. Thanks for making it so memorable and enjoyable. I knew you were tired but you did not show it one bit. You managed to surprise me, as always.....:)
