This year Hari Raya was a KL affair.
Woke up with a temperature of 38.7. I was feeling so hot! I could not get out of bed. Hubby nursed me and by noon, he managed to bring down my temp and I could get out of bed and showered. First time in my life, Raya morning feast was oats and a cup of hot milo. No lemang! No ketupat! No rendang! Hey!....It's different ok!
Went to my parents-in-laws house. Ate a lil bit and went visiting to an aunty's house. So happy I managed to put on my raya outfit.
4th day of raya, we drove back to Spore and went visiting on Saturday. I was still not well. Coughing like a maniac. Went back to KL on Monday and before we set off, received sms that father-in-law was admitted to the hospital cos of high sugar level and infection.
I guess this year raya is not that fantastic but I still thank God that I am still alive to see Raya this year. Things may not be fantastic but I hope Raya next year will be a happy affair.
I am still coughing till today and father-in-law is still in hospital. I hope he will get well soon and out of hospital. Insya-Allah.
