The news that was announced today that petrol price will increase tonight at midnight triggered a scene out of the movie "Deep Impact". Many roads were flooded with cars queuing up for petrol at the various petrol stations. Everybody was rushing to fill up their tanks before midnight. There were massive jams everywhere, as everybody tried to beat the midnight deadline. Petrol prices has increased by 0.78 cents from the current RM1.92 per litre. As of midnight tonight, petrol prices will be at RM2.70 per litre. And soon, the electricity tariffs will increase by 18%.
*sigh*
